Paddy had declared himself Royal Highness of Sealand.

The area of this country is only 550 square meters and the population of the country has never gone above 30.

This country is not recognized by other countries. However, this micro country has been discussed many times as a case study in the debates that have taken place around the world.

In this country, all materials, including food and drink, are ordered online and helicoptered to the docks.

History of Sealand

Sealand has a very interesting history. During the Second World War, the UK (England) built several forts on the international border under the name Monsell. Sealand is also such a fortress.

After the war it was used for pirate radio but army officer Paddy chased the pirates away and took control of the fort.

Paddy, on the advice of a lawyer, declared the fort to be an independent country. It was Paddy who designed the country's flag, not only wrote the national anthem, but also made currency and passports.

The currency of the country named Sealand Dollar is not accepted anywhere in the world. Interestingly, the country was put up for sale three times between 2007 and 2011 for $906 million; But he did not get a single customer.
