The Discovery of Washing Machine...

The history of the invention of the washing machine is an interesting one. In 1858, an American named Hamilton Smith patented the rotary washing machine. The machine was shaped like a cylinder, and when clothes and water were put into it, pedals were pressed to start it.

This was the first step in the creation of the modern washing machine. At that time many such washing machines were produced. These machines have to be operated by hand.

At the beginning of the 20th century, America's Hurley Company started manufacturing electric washing machines.

This machine was designed by Alva Fischer. Due to the gearbox in this machine, the clothes are not rolled during the washing process.

Washing machines, which were initially found only in the rich, are now seen in many homes.
