Inside the Earthquake...

Earthquakes are caused by the sudden movement of rocks or slabs of rock beneath cracks where there are fundamental cracks in the earth's crust.

Scientists believe that earthquakes are also caused by volcanic eruptions. In 1868, the Mauna Loa volcano in the Hawaiian Islands was preceded by six consecutive days of earthquakes. Earthquakes usually caused by volcanic eruptions are limited in area and less destructive.

The density of land on Earth is not the same everywhere. If it was the same, there would have been no earthquake. When any object moves, acceleration is created between them. It differs from place to place. The resulting force heats the rock to its capacity. It causes earthquakes.
